Partnering for success

We all dream of, and many have achieved great success in our businesses, but how did we get there?  The most common answer usually comes in a response that closely mirrors, "hard work, long hours, and dedication."  This may be true in the vast majority of situations, but there is one aspect that many don't realize, that is the partnerships we form within our business.

Partnerships is such a broad term, it can mean almost anything.  People often first think along the lines of a person or entity that is a co-owner of the business.  That isn't the type of partnership we are talking about today.  I want to focus on the partnerships we form with our customers and our vendors.

It isn't too far fetched of an idea to understand that if we have returning customers, those customers are the building blocks of our success.  If you have a customer that returns over and over, that shows you have formed a partnership with that customer.  They trust you and/or your services.  Trust is fundamental in forming a partnership.

The same goes for your vendors and suppliers.  As you try to form a trusting partnership as a vendor to others, you also need a trusting partnership with your own vendors.  Do they provide quality products and supplies? Are they reliable?  Are they timely in their shipping or delivery?  All of these key points and many more are the foundation of a sturdy structure that encompasses your trusting partnership.

At American DTF Supply, we strive to form long lasting, trusting, partnerships with all of our clients.  We do this by providing high quality supplies at fair and reasonable prices, and in a timely manner, but also through communication.  If there may be a small delay in shipping, we will always reach out to let you know.  If something has changed with a product, we will make the changes known as soon as possible.
